It was our honor and pleasure to present the 1st Annual SHS Award honoring the dedicated service of Agent James Simmons, 2nd VP. of State and President, of F.O.P. IDOC Lodge #263, for the Victims of the State of Illinois. Agent Simmons will be the first recipient of this distinguished award from “Support for Homicide Survivor’s”. SHS recognizes his dedicated commitment to see that victims in the State of Illinois are not forgotten. He has supported victims issues and fought for legislation that helps to bring forth the Rights of Victims.
The Honor took place at the State Capitol, Springfield, Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 12:00p.m.
